07/04/2010: Official Statement – New Home Office Regulations
We at Training Connect Limited (Training Connect), would like to share with you all that in line with the new Home Office policies, from 07th April 2010 Training Connect will be focusing on the Training Connect Online Courses and International ESOL Diploma whilst having the ESOL with Citizenship programme under Innovative Skills Limited (Innovative Skills). Innovative Skills is an ‘accredited college’ along with being accredited by City & Guilds to run ESOL courses.
This particular distinction has been made to better support all current and prospective learners, especially those having a tight deadline within which they are to submit their application to the Home Office.
As this New Immigration Rule has come into effect instantly, it will have effect all our previous learners who completed their course before the 1st of April 2010. If any of these learners are to submit their application to the Home Office within the next 6-8 weeks please contact Training Connect for advice on how best to proceed with their Home Office applications. Learners applying after 8 weeks need not contact Training Connect unless they wish to.
To avoid any confusion Training Connect will continue to provide its English and Maths Online courses along with the International ESOL Diploma qualification whilst having the ESOL with Citizenship delivered under our arm of Innovative Skills.

09/11/2009: Changes to the law on citizenship - information for applicants
The UK Border Agency recently announced changes to British nationality law under the Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act 2009. These change will commence on 13 January 2010.
