What is the course about?
The course is designed to improve your English. This course can help you possibly gaining �Citizenship�. We aim to improve your English spoken, written and reading skills to a sufficient level, which can aid in your application for Citizenship as well as help you in everyday life. You will take an exam either at Entry 1/ Entry 2/ Entry 3 which if achieved will be a useful document for your �Citizenship� application.
What will the course involve?
The content of the course will vary depending on the needs and interests of the learners and the profile of the class. However, it is intended that you and the tutor cover �Life in the UK� - A Journey to Citizenship official publications with the opportunity to gain an ESOL (English) qualification. The ESOL course is delivered in a citizenship context and used learning materials derived from the �Citizenship Materials for ESOL learners� pack produced for the Home Office by NIACE and LLU+.
What will I need to get onto the course?
No formal prior qualifications are necessary.
What options are open to me when I complete the course?
Successful candidates interested in taking their learning further are able to progress to one or more qualifications within the National Qualifications Framework. You can gain the opportunity to study more English to live and work in the UK confidently.
