What is the course about?
The City & Guilds International ESOL qualifications will help you demonstrate your ability to communicate in English to enable you to work or study in English-speaking countries and/or environments.
Who is this course for?
The International ESOL Diploma qualification is for anyone who is a non-native speaker of English and who would like to demonstrate their ability to communicate in English.
Many English-speaking universities accept this qualification as evidence of language proficiency for entry on to their courses. Besides, according to UK Border Agency�s announcement, International ESOL Diploma can be used for all routes / visas which require a proof of English language competence such as Tier 1- Highly Skilled Worker, Tier 2 � Skilled Worker, Spouse Partner Visa and Tier 4 � Student Visa.

There are six levels linked to the Common European Framework (CEF).
C2 � Mastery
C1 � Expert
B2 � Communicator
B1 � Achiever
A2 � Access
A1 � Preliminary
What options are open to me when I complete the course?
Successful candidates interested in taking their learning further are able to progress to one or more qualifications within the National Qualifications Framework. You can gain the opportunity to study more English to live and work in the UK confidently.
